| Christ Church Kids Sunday School |
Sunday School starts on September 18, 2011. Classes take place in concurrence with the
Adult Christian Formation classes at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.
K3- K4— BUZZ is a series of Bible Stories that creates an environment that invites young
children to listen, taste, touch, move and experiment. Each session centers around a Bible
story chosen because of its appropriateness for little ones and its meaning within the whole
biblical story of God’s creative and redeeming love. This is experiential learning at its best!
Classes are broken down as follows: K3- K4, K5- 1st, 2nd & 3rd, 4th & 5th grades. Classes run with
the school year and children should attend the class that corresponds with their age on September
1st.

K5 –1st Grade—Godly Play
This is a method of Christian education based on
Montessori methods which engages children's physical
senses while they learn about God. The goal of Godly
Play is to teach children the art of using religious
language, parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical
action to help them become more fully aware of the
mystery of God’s presence around them and in their
lives. Children share their own experiences and make
practical connections to God and the Bible.

2nd- 3rd Grade - Discipleship

love. This complete, multi-aged children's
ministry program is packed full of
interactive stories and drama, Scripture
memory, themed snacks and activities
that will engage every child.

4th- 5th Grade - Sunday School Specials
We are happy to introduce this new, interactive Sunday
school program for our 3rd-5th grade children. Each
lesson contains an opening game or activity to grab kid's
attention and gets them tuned into the theme, along with
an interactive Bible story and life-application activity that
helps kids apply what the Bible says to their own lives.
Once a month in this class the children will act out the
lesson in a drama for the class.
